Our poll indicates that Kaden Lebsack surprised some people

It seems like the viewers were expecting a veteran to win the season.

We love a good poll! We love gathering your votes to see where opinions are leaning. And we got such a kick out of our, “Who will win season 13 poll?”

Between episodes two and three of the American Ninja Warrior National Finals, we wanted to know who the fans thought would be the Last Ninja Standing or Champion. At that point, there were 20 Ninjas left in the running.

Here are the closed results of that poll!

The 1758 votes were spread nicely across the board. But there were some names that stood out.

  • Austin Gray came in first with 491 votes.
  • Joe Moravsky had 381 votes.
  • Vance Walker earned 263 votes.
  • Jake Murray pulled in 126 votes.
  • Kaden Lebsack had 68 votes.

At this point, we all know that it was Kaden who blew our minds with his stunning Stage Three completion, moving on to Stage Four alone.

Those that voted for Austin Gray weren’t far off. He was in position to take the Last Ninja Standing title with his Stage Three run to Eyeglass Alley. Until Kaden came along. Joe Moravsky shocked everyone with an exit on the first obstacle of Stage Two. Vance Walker was also a Stage Three competitor. Jake was visibly disappointed that Stage Three escaped him once again.

What we’re seeing from this? Kaden came as a shock to a lot of us. Sure, we knew the teens would do well this season, but it seems like at the end of the day, a lot of us were thinking a veteran would be on top

But, just like polls, we also love a good plot twist. Thanks for sneaking up on us, Kaden!
