The Tokyo Olympics are heading into the home stretch, which means American Ninja Warrior will return to Mondays very soon (August 9, to be exact). But first, there’s one Olympian that Ninja Warrior fans definitely should be cheering on.
Allyson Felix is on the verge of yet another jaw-dropping accomplishment. While Felix hasn’t run the Ninja Warrior course herself, she hosted “Ninja Warrior Weekly,” a digital series that aired during season 10, and we’re proud to consider her part of the Ninja family.
Felix is a history-maker in every sense of the term. We’re not going to be able to do her accomplishments justice here. She’s currently taking part in her fifth Olympic games. She has NINE Olympic medals in Track and Field events, including, oh you know, SIX gold medals.
Felix recently earned a spot in the 400-meter final at the Tokyo Olympics. That means she’ll be running for gold once again in the finals, which will take place on Friday night.
Felix is a mother and wife, an activist, a business owner, and an avid collector of medals.
We’ll be cheering Felix on as she looks towards another accomplishment, while inspiring countless others in the process. What could be more American Ninja Warrior than that?
