Okay, you had to know this article was coming, right? NBC is the broadcasting home of the Tokyo Olympic games, which means American Ninja Warrior will take a break for a few weeks.

American Ninja Warrior will return with night two of the Semifinals on Monday, August 9, at 8 pm EST/PST.

Ninja Warrior, which usually airs on Mondays, will not be shown on July 26 or August 2. NBC will go basically all-Olympic at the end of this week. The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on Friday morning, July 23.

But that doesn't mean you have to miss out on spending time with Ninja Warrior’s hosts, Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila! The two are in Japan right now and will host an Olympic morning show, recapping the action in the way only those two can. You can catch them as the hosts of “Tokyo LIVE” which will air each morning from 6 am - 11 am EST on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.

You can check out a full schedule of the Olympic broadcasts here. It’s not like you’ll be short on action and excitement while Ninja Warrior is off the air!

Remember: American Ninja Warrior will return with the second night of the Semifinals on Monday, August 9, at 8 pm EST/PST on NBC.
