American Ninja Warrior hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila stopped by the Kelly Clarkson Show ahead of season 13’s premiere and hilarity ensued, of course.

For anyone hungry for hints about the new season, the clip starts off with an exciting sneak peek at Lindsay Eskildsen’s run in the Qualifiers. The Ninja mom pulls off a crazy save on Domino Effect, a new balance obstacle. Lindsay’s full run will be part of the Ninja Warrior season premiere on Monday, May 31.

After both hosts agree that Akbar is the decidedly more athletic one of the duo, they launch into the epic story of Matt’s 50th birthday. Akbar decided to prank his dear old friend by sending 50 pizzas to Matt’s house and then disguising himself as a stranger while attempting to make himself at home. It’s pretty wild. You’ll need to watch the prank in action for context.

Kelly nailed the true message behind the clip when she said, “First of all, never take food from Matt’s plate.” Matt was incredibly proud of the fact that he managed to tackle Akbar, a former NFL player, to the ground.

Once they got that out of their systems, the hosts move on to discussing season 13 of American Ninja Warrior. Specifically, they talk about the age limit coming down to 15. Both Matt and Akbar indicate that the kids crush it this season, so we’ll have to keep a lookout for that.

Season 13 of American Ninja Warrior premieres on Monday, May 31 at 8 pm on NBC.
