Season 13’s promo gives us a look at the new teen competitors

The promo for season 13 of American Ninja Warrior is here and it is hype!

The trailer gives us quick shots of some of the returning veterans like Lance Pekus, Daniel Gil, and Jesse Labreck. Amir Malik, a breakout star from season 12, sprints by. But it’s the rookies who take the spotlight in this clip.

As Zuri Hall says, “A new age begins.” This season will include several teen competitors who were invited to participate in the show. Some of these teens are as young as 15. By the looks of this video, we should not underestimate these kids. In a few shots, they seem pretty deep into the course.

There’s so much to look forward to on this season of the show. No matter who steps up to the starting line, we’re going to be heavily invested in how it all turns out. The promo says it perfectly. This season is about “returning favs” and “rising stars.”

Season 13 of American Ninja Warrior will debut on Monday, May 31 at 8 pm EST on NBC.
