That’s a wrap on the American Ninja Warrior Qualifiers for season 13! The Ninjas all gathered in the Tacoma Dome last week to face the first of this year’s obstacles. Those that survived will now move on to Los Angeles to compete in the Semifinals in the very near future.
While the Qualifiers are in the can, the viewers won’t get a peek at them for a few more months. Season 13 makes its television debut on Monday, May 31 at 8 pm on NBC.
There’s not much we can share at this point, but the Ninjas who traveled to Tacoma gave out little snapshots of their experiences through their social media posts. Take a look!
Daniel Gil took a trip down memory lane when he shared a post from just before his very first season.
A masked-up Joe Moravsky wants us to be excited for what’s coming. (The show has strict COVID-19 safety protocols in place on set.)
We appreciate that Lance Pekus carefully positioned himself so we can’t see much of the course in this photo.
Barclay is back! After a season away, Barclay Stockett was camera-ready.
Is there any Ninja more prepared to entertain the camera than Grant McCartney?
It was wheels-up for Zhanique Lovett. Unlike in other seasons, all the Qualifiers were taped in one location. That meant many Ninjas traveled quite a ways to take part.
The Tacoma Dome is a hallowed ground for Sandy Zimmerman. She’s found success there throughout her life.
Making it even MORE memorable, Sandy had the chance to compete with her loved ones for the first-ever family special this year.
Maggi Thorne was jumping for joy. She’s battled her way back from a traumatic brain injury to return to the course once again.
Lindsay Eskildsen took a few seasons off to start her family. Now she’s back and ready to rep for all the mommas!
True to form, the always-smiling Jeri D’Aurelio was happy to be back on set.
How does it feel to see yourself on a huge, gigantic banner? Ask Jamie Rahn.
But in the end, nothing is more special than getting to take on this experience with the Ninja community.
That’s what we’ve got! After this, the advancing Ninjas will head to the Universal Studios backlot for the Semifinals. We won’t be able to even drop hints about which Ninjas we see there.
Remember, season 13 of American Ninja Warrior premieres on Monday, May 31 at 8 pm on NBC.
