Danell Leyva's incredible Stage One save flashed past us this morning on our daily stroll around the internet. We immediately stopped and watched it twice. It’s a thing of beauty. It’s a thing that looks like it shouldn’t be possible given the laws of gravity as we understand them.
And it’s not an isolated thing.
American Ninja Warrior competitors seem to have a knack for defying gravity. When their eyes on the prize, NOTHING is going to stand in their way. Take a look back at six times the Ninjas said, “Nope” to gravity.
Of course, when Danell Leyva said, “Lol. Gravity is cute.”
Now THAT is an Olympic-level save from gymnast @DanellJLeyva! #AmericanNinjaWarrior pic.twitter.com/6t3LK0kzOj

When David Campbell should have fallen on the Lunatic Ledges but was like, “Thanks, but no thanks.”
When gravity asked Maggi Thorne to have a seat and she said, “Hard pass on that.”
When Kevin Bull was like, “Hey, the only thing you need to do to beat Cannonball Alley is to ignore gravity for a quick sec.”
When gravity tried to send Morgan “Moose” Wright a message (twice) and he responded with, “What? I didn’t hear you.”
When gravity was like, “Careful there, Robert Ing,” and he was all, “Quiet down, I’m working here!”
We know there are so many other epic gravity-defying moments! So jump down to the comments and share your favorites.
