Ninja Warrior fans are split over the Safety Pass

Last week, we asked one of the more controversial poll questions that we’ve thrown out there.

Should the Safety Pass return for season 13?

Quick reminder: The Safety Pass was won on the City Finals Power Towers in season 11 and allowed a re-run if the competitor fell on Stage One or Two of the National Finals.

Going by the poll we included in the article, “Yes,” meaning the Safety Pass should return, won by a narrow margin.

But honestly, we’re not entirely convinced “Yes” was the winner. Frankly, a lot more people responded in the comments on our social media posts around the article than actually took the poll. And it was an all-out debate. We watched the readers duke it out in the comments and we’re not sure which side had more support.

Reading the comments made our heads spin. We’d have long strings like this -

Even the Ninja Warriors themselves were divided.

Reading through all the comments, as soon as we felt like “No” had the advantage, we’d find ourselves in a long line of “Yes.” We’re so confused!

So, SHOULD the Safety Pass return in season 13? We have no clue. Not even close to a clue. But it’s not up to us. The producers will decide that and we’ll find out once we have a chance to learn more about season 13 of American Ninja Warrior.
