We recently shared the American Ninja Warrior will start season 13 by holding the first round of competition in Tacoma, Washington. Next up, we have more details about who will be in that group of competitors.

American Ninja Warrior is in the process of selecting teens between the ages of 15 and 18 to take part in the regular competition.

In recent years, the minimum age requirement to apply for the show was 19. That was true for season 13 as well. However, this time around a few teens caught the attention of the Ninja Warrior community and they’ll get the extraordinary chance to make their national television debut a few years early.

The teens will be part of the regular competition, not a special one. They’ll face the same courses and obstacles as the veteran Ninjas like Daniel Gil and Joe Moravsky. Think about what that could possibly mean for the year. Could we see a fifteen-year-old in Las Vegas at the National Finals?

Casting calls to all the competitors, including the selected teens, are still underway and are not complete yet. We’ll need to wait a while to find out which Ninja progenies will hit the course this year, but we’re so ready to see what they can do out there!
