Michelle Warnky has had a busy offseason

With all that training, she’ll definitely be ready for season 12.

Michelle Warnky has been one of the most popular female competitors on American Ninja Warrior since she first appeared in season 5. Tied with Meagan Martin as the most female qualifications for a City Finals (6), we’ve seen Michelle leave it all on the course year after year. (Literally.)

While 2020 has been a blur for many of us, Michelle has been keeping busy and getting in her Ninja training for season 12. The biggest news is that she and her fiancé, Joel Buurma, got married! Congratulations you two!

She went to the National Ninja League World Finals in February.

@nationalninjaleague World Finals was a blast! Loved cheering on our @mlabohio #labrats team, seeing lots of friends I don't often get to see, getting time with my family, and meeting lots of wonderful people. Other than the qualifier a few weeks ago, I haven't done much ninja training since last June with everything that's been going on, so it was really fun to get back out there! Time to start hitting it hard for the ninja season coming up! . . ***TWO WEEKS till our Arnold Ninja event in Columbus Ohio March 6-8! If you're sad NNL season is over, or just love running courses, come on out to our event. The @arnoldsports is the largest of it's kind in the World, with about 250,000 people that come out! . @mlabohio is hosting several ninja competitions, an individual speed one, team, and skills. There are divisions for kids, teens, and adults, so come on out! If you register tonight before midnight, you also get free entry into the Arnold festival!! . See you then!

We have a new home for @mlabohio ! . . We've been searching for years for a new space for @mlabohio and it has been a crazy ride! It has brought me to my knees or in tears many times, but God is gracious and faithful, and His timing is always perfect, even when we struggle to fully trust Him! Myself and countless family and friends have lifted up so many prayers for our future space, and I'm so thankful to share that we have signed a lease for our new space and I got the keys today! . Enjoyed writing some verses on some 2x4s in the new space

This is me being so surprised I freeze! Was so excited this happened this week! ‍♀️ I was even ready to plug my nose for the fall . @buurmj has been practicing 360s on a surfboard (he can get them, just working on getting them more often), so I decided why not try. Watched a YouTube video with tips and have seen Joel do it. Tried a couple times with mostly complete fails, a couple 180s or so, and then this happened! I was so shocked when I tuned around that I stopped surfing!
