American Ninja Warrior host Matt Iseman goes all in on everything he does. Whether he’s calling runs on the show or just reading a bedtime story, Matt does not back down or turn down the energy. That’s why his recent appearance on “RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race” was downright amazing.
On the episode, Matt transformed into “old school Hollywood vixen” Bette Bordeaux thanks to his mentor Kim Chi.
We loved it. He loved it. So much love.
You know Matt didn’t phone it in during the lip sync battle and our faces hurt from how hard we smiled during this.
He took on the experience whole-heartedly and, frankly, it gave us the feels.
“To see somebody like you do this I think is gonna give a lot of people like that a little freedom to loosen up – to open their heart and mind.” @helloross @mattiseman #CelebDragRace pic.twitter.com/RBOeQmv9yU— RuPaul's Drag Race (@RuPaulsDragRace) May 9, 2020
He even made history on the show by being part of the first-ever three way tie with fellow competitiors Alex Newell and Dustin Milligan.
The show is a special spin off from the wildly popular and successful “RuPaul’s Drag Race” on VH1. From the website:
“In this special four-episode event, three different RuPaul’s Drag Race fan favorites are challenged with giving three different A-listers drag makeovers. Their queens then battle it out in classic competitions for the title of America’s Next Celebrity Drag Superstar as well as prize money for the charity of their choice.”
We going to just say it. We love Matt Iseman, but we would not be mad if Bette Bordeaux popped by to call a few runs on American Ninja Warrior next season!
