Fan-favorite Ninjas waited until the last second to apply to season 13

Hey, at least they got it in on time!

In a sport that’s all about timing, Ninjas love a last-second move! Applications for season 13 of American Ninja Warrior were due by 11:59 pm PST on December 14. Judging by social media this morning (December 15), it seems like a LOOOT of the veteran competitors decided to wait until the last moment to hit that submit button.

Hey, at least they got their homework in on time! Looking through these posts fills us with hope and optimism for the new year. So many big-name competitors are throwing their hats back in the ring. There are some that we didn’t get to see on season 12 due to the much smaller size of the competitor pool. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that we get to see everyone this time around! (Yes, we’re also very excited to see what the rookies bring to season 13 as well!)

Keep in mind that the producers and casting team still need to make the final decisions. Over the next few weeks, ALL the competitors will anxiously await a phone call confirming their place on the course in 2021.
