Season 12’s rookie class competed well under extra pressure

Here’s a list of all of season 12’s rookie competitors. Congratulations to all of them!

When American Ninja Warrior changed up the format for season 12, only about 150 select Ninjas were invited to participate. This drastically narrowed the field. Generally, around 600 Ninjas try the course each year. With such a talented class of veterans being brought back for the special season, being a rookie on season 12 wasn’t an easy position.

Not only did season 12’s rookies have to contend with the nerves and anxiety that always come with your first time on the show, but they had to add in the pressure of filming during the pandemic and competing alongside the best of the best when only 12 could advance from each round.

Thinking back on the season, we were so impressed by this class of rookies. They gave us their stories and then they gave it their all on the course under unprecedented circumstances. Below you can find a list of all 57 of season 12’s rookies. Congratulations are due to every one!
