ANW Power Couple: Jesse Labreck and Chris DiGangi both made Finals in season 12

Jesse Labreck and Chris DiGangi may have postponed their wedding due to COVID-19, but they aren’t letting the pandemic get in the way of their Ninja goals.

The pair, who have been engaged since fall 2018, have become one of ANW’s power couples, consistently crushing the course. Jesse has qualified for the Nationals Finals all five seasons that she’s competed, while Chris has qualified for National Finals for the last four seasons.

The pair have built a bit of a pattern of reaching the same place on a course. That makes sense when you consider how much time they spend training together. This year, both Jesse and Chris failed on The Dungeon, an obstacle that took out seven competitors the first night of Semi-Finals. Jesse was the first-place woman and Chris qualified in 11th (Check out the whole leaderboard from that night here).

On night one of the Finals, they broke their habit of matching results. Chris went out early on the Falling Shelves. Jesse, on the other hand, went all the way, hitting the buzzer and putting herself in position for the top eight and the Power Tower playoffs.

We know Chris is beaming with pride over Jesse’s accomplishment. We’ll all be cheering for her during the American Ninja Warrior finale on Wednesday, November 4!
