We have a date and time, folks! The second season of American Ninja Warrior Junior will premiere on Saturday, February 22 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila are joined by new co-host Paralympian Gold Medalist Victoria Arlen and the season premiere will be available on Universal Kids’ YouTube and digital platforms before it’s aired on the 22nd.

ANW Jr. includes more than 140 boys and girls from around the U.S. as they compete head-to-head based on age groups: 9 & 10, 11 & 12, and 13 & 14-year-olds. Season 2 will include 10 of the most iconic ANW obstacles, including the Shrinking and Floating Steps, the Little Dipper, Spider Walls, Double Tilt Ladders, Crazy Cliffhanger, the Block Run, Flying Squirrel, Wingnuts, and Skyhooks.

Like last season, each age group has two Ninja coaches. The 9 & 10-year-olds worked with Najee Richardson and Barclay Stockett; 11 &-12 year-olds learned tips and tricks from Jessie Graff and Grant McCartney; and the 13 & 14-year-olds were supported by Drew Drechsel and Meagan Martin.

We’ve learned to expect twists and changes each year in ANW, and this season of ANW Jr. is no different. This year, there will be four wildcard races per age bracket. The two fastest Ninjas eliminated in the previous Qualifiers will run again and have the change to move on to the Quarterfinals.

One final winner per age bracket (three total) will be crowned American Ninja Warrior Junior Champion.
