Look back at season 11: Seattle/Tacoma Qualifiers and City Finals

This region was the show’s first time taping indoors, and brought along some surprises.

Matthew Hayward/NBC

American Ninja Warrior tried something new for season 11 in the Seattle/Tacoma region. It was the show’s first time in the Northwest part of the country, and it was the first time the course was set up inside, taking over the Tacoma Dome.

The Qualifiers and City Finals each brought their own surprises. Sandy Zimmerman became the first mom to hit a buzzer. Jessie Graff returned “home” to the show after missing the season 10 National Finals. For the first time in this season, no one was able to hit the City Finals buzzer.
