This article was published prior to Drew Drechsel’s arrest. NBC and American Ninja Warrior have since cut ties with him.
American Ninja Warrior season 11 gave us an unprecedented 21 Ninjas on Stage Three. In turn, this gave us a chance to get a good look at the obstacles of this stage, when it feels like we usually only get a fleeting glance from a tiny handful of Ninjas.
Anyone who thought 21 was far too many Ninjas was in luck. That number dwindled down quickly. In the end, only Drew Drechsel and Daniel Gil stood at the buzzer. Together, they advanced to the 75-foot rope climb of Stage Four for the second climb-off in the show’s history. Check out how things happened below!
