Grant McCartney is back with a vengeance this season! After missing out on the National Finals for the past two years, he was ready to make it count on season 11 of American Ninja Warrior.

After a strong showing, including a Mega Wall completion, in the Qualifying round of Cincinnati, Grant had a scary time in the City Finals. He fell on the eighth obstacle, Slam Dunk, and had to wait until almost all the runners finished before finding out if he would return to Vegas.

Luck was on his side, and he was back to the National Finals! In the video above, Grant takes on Stage One. We’ll let you watch the clip instead of telling you what happens. But let’s just say we’re loving this new, focused side of the dancing Island Ninja!
