American Ninja Warror debuted its very own podcast along with season 10. The show featured in-depth conversations with Ninja Warriors, focusing on their lives both in front of, and behind the cameras.
That tradition continues with season two of the podcast. There is one big difference though. It’s, well, me.
I’m Nikki Lee, the editor here at ANW Nation.Com, and I have been since season eight. This year, NBC asked if I would take a spin in host’s chair for the podcast, bringing some of my on-set and behind-the-scenes perspective to the interviews. I got things started for the Atlanta Qualifiers by having a chat with Roo Yori, the K9 Ninja.
As a fellow dog lover, I’ve always been a Roo-fan, but I’ve been curious about how he turned a love of animals into a life-long mission and even started a foundation. Since Roo hit his second buzzer at the Atlanta Qualifiers and received a $20,000 from the makers of “The Secret Life of Pets 2,” it seemed like the perfect time to ask him!
I hope you enjoy the podcast and I’m looking forward to bringing you more Ninja conversations as the season goes on!
