This Thursday, April 25, through Saturday, April 27, NFL fans will be glued to the 2019 draft. This is the time when the NFL teams pick their new team members for the approaching season, make some trades, and shake things up. For those that don’t follow football closely, a lot of the names of drafted players will be new, but by the end of the season, they might be household names.
Now, when it comes to NFL and American Ninja Warrior, there’s generally not too much of a crossover and when they do cross, it’s usually not with spectacular results.
To be fair, since that above article was published, former NFL player Anthony Trucks joined the Ninja Warrior ranks. He played for Tampa Bay, Washington and Pittsburgh. In season nine, he cleared the LA Qualifying course, and made it to the City Finals for the second time in season 10.
Additionally, Jason Avant, former wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, ran the Philly course in season 10. He made it to the Wingnuts on the Qualifying course.
Do you think there are any other NFL players that have Ninja Warrior potential? “Draft” a player to the course and tell us why you want to see them there!
There are a couple of different ways you could do this. You can pick from the athletes who are potential draft picks for this year.
But if you’re not familiar with them, you could also consider some of the bigger name players who were major fantasy league picks for 2018.
Which NFL player or potential player do you think has the best shot at the American Ninja Warrior course? Tell us why in the comment section below!
