The NCAA March Madness brackets are winding to a close, but before it’s all said and done, let’s have a little American Ninja Warrior fun of our own. We’ve put together a Ninja Warrior “Sweet 16” bracket of competitors. Using your votes, we’ll see who advances in the “tournament”!
First, selecting which competitors to include in the Sweet 16 was a hard task. What we finally came up with was including the Ninjas who advanced the farthest into Stage Two of season 10.
Using Stage Two course completions, the one fail on the Water Walls, and falls on Wingnut Alley only gave us 14 Ninjas. 10 other Ninjas fell on Deja Vu. We do not having timing information to see which Ninjas made it that far the fastest. So, because of that we included Austin Gray and Daniel Gil in the Sweet 16 as almost wildcards. (This isn’t an exact science, people.)
After inputting all the names, we asked a bracket generator to randomize the seeds so we had some interesting mix ups in our eight “battles.”

Now it’s your turn. We’ve set up polls below to represent each of the match ups. But we do need some context around the face offs. For each poll, ask yourself, “Which Ninja do I think would beat Stage One with a faster time this year?”
We know they’re all capable of getting to the National Finals and hitting the buzzer on Stage One. (Who knows what will happen this year, but they’ve proven they can do it in the past!) If they all stepped up to a brand new Stage One (not last year’s), who would go the farthest, the fastest in that match up?
Cast your votes below! Every couple of days we’ll update the results as we get down to the Elite Eight, Final Four, and the last two Ninjas standing!
(Just a reminder what we love all the Ninja Warriors and we have total faith in all their hard-earned skills. This is just a little hypothetical fun.)
The results of these polls were pulled at 8:52am PST, April 3, and used to compile round two’s match ups.
