Akbar vs MattOn the set of Ninja Warrior in Atlanta. Akbar Gbajabiamila explains why he is better than Matt Iseman at everything.

In a recent interview with Obstacle Racing Media, American Ninja Warrior host Akbar Gbajabiamila laid down what could sound like some fighting words.
When host Matt B. Davis asked who would win in an arm wrestling match between Matt Iseman and Akbar, Akbar responded with, “Matt doesn’t stand a chance against me.”
Okay, fair. We can see that. Akbar is quite well known for his workouts and dedication to fitness. Do we need to remind you about Red Nose Day?

But then Akbar doubled down on his statement and expanded it to include that Matt wouldn’t be able to beat him at ANYTHING.
“I’m taller than Matt. I’m stronger than Matt. I’m faster than Matt. I’m also tougher than Matt.”
Akbar shared that he was just 10 days out from his knee surgery, prompting Davis to ask if Matt could perform surgery better than Akbar.
To which Akbar responded NO. His reasoning? Because he’s been under the knife before. He can even knows how to administer anesthesia.
Let’s unpack that statement for a minute. First of all, Matt is an ACTUAL DOCTOR. No, that doesn’t make him a surgeon, but we do think it might give him a fundamental understanding of the basic workings of the human body. Second, Akbar, we really hope you were asleep during those surgeries you’ve had. If you were awake and taking notes, well, we have a new found respect for you.
Last, while he seems entirely confident in himself, we’re not going to ask Akbar to step into the role of anesthesiologist the next time we need surgery.
In conclusion, we agree that Akbar would most likely beat Matt in arm wrestling. However, we’re not ready to extend that boldness to surgery. But what are your thoughts? Let’s settle this.
