After American Ninja Warrior wraps up its first indoor taping session in the location of Seattle/Tacoma, Washington, the course will hit the road to another new city. The last of the season 11 Qualifying cities is Cincinnati, Ohio.

May 24-25, the show will set up on Second Street in downtown. We’re not familiar with the layout yet, but downtown locations have proved a hit in the past. During seasons eight and 10, the course was in a central location in Indianapolis. It provided more viewing space for the general public, and a sense of being embedded within the community.

American Ninja Warrior has only visited Ohio one other time. In season nine, the course was in Cleveland. When we went back to refresh ourselves on that location, we were reminded that a HECK of a lot of great runs came out of that evening!

As we’ve been exploring season 11’s locations, we’ve been pointing out the major sports team mascots we might see there. Cincinnati is home to the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals, and maybe we’ll see Who Day on the course.

But the Cincinnati Reds (MLB) might be sending a dang team to try the Warped Wall. They have FOUR mascots: Gapper, Mr. Redlegs, Mr. Red, and Rosie Red.

Additionally, maybe we’ve been sheltered, but we just learned about Cincinnati chili and we are totally going to track some down while we’re there!

We know Ohio is home to many Ninja Warrior gyms, so the community there should be strong and ready for the challenges of the course! What else can we expect from Cincinnati? If you have any local knowledge, drop some suggestions in the comments!
