Warning: If you’re anything like us, this might make you cry a little.

5-year-old Joshua is a fan of American Ninja Warrior. Last week, he walked into his backyard to discover his very own Ninja course. Moments later, he found himself surrounded by hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila and a gaggle of Ninja Warriors.

The memorable day was put together by the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Colorado. Josh is in remission from childhood kidney cancer, which he and his family have been dealing with since Josh was three. This article details the incredibly powerful journey that Josh, his parents, and his siblings have traveled together. At one point, his cancer reached stage four. (We’re warning you, have tissues handy if you read that article.)

For all his courage and bravery, Joshua is definitely already a Ninja Warrior. His incredible surprise just sealed the deal. With his parent’s help, Joshua had no idea what was in store for him.

After seeing his very own Ninja Warrior course, Joshua got a double-whammy of a surprise when the show’s hosts and Ninjas strolled into his backyard.

Olivia Vivian, Jake Murray, Adam Rayl, Lorin Ball, and Jamie Rahn all were there to celebrate Joshua and cheer him on through the course.

While it was a day for Joshua, everyone involved repeatedly said how special that moment was for them as well, proving once again that Ninja Warriors are all muscle, including heart.
