If you’re on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed the #Top9of2019 trend in which people/accounts are posting their top 9 photos from 2019. Last night, I went to the website and found out the Top 9 for @ANWNation and here’s what came up:
Let’s start with the top left. This was our most popular post of 2019, so I re-posted it for our 1,000th all-time post (and that’s why it showed up twice in our Top 9). Congrats again, Jeremy!
The top middle was another video, this time the INCREDIBLE save from Olympic gymnast Danell Leyva. It’s definitely worth another watch if you haven’t seen it yet:
The entire right-hand column were announcements: top right was USA vs. the World, middle and bottom are both counting down to season 11. Middle left was when Drew Drechsel embraced girlfriend April Beckner after winning the $1 million—who could forget that moment? Bottom left was a teaser about the upcoming taping dates and bottom middle was about the Mega Wall rule change.
What does that tell us about the ANW community?
First and foremost, that you get psyched as the new season approaches (but who doesn’t, tbf).
Perhaps more importantly, though, we see that the community also loves celebrating special achievements, whether it’s becoming the Champion, conquering the Warped Wall, or an incredible feat on the course. And that’s what we see time and time again with this special community. From the athletes to the fans, there’s a level of support that you just don’t find anywhere else!
