We are often asked how fans and aspiring Ninjas can find places to train and competitions to test their skills against other athletes. We have found two great resources:
Ninja Guide
Ninja Guide comes to us from our friends at MudRunGuide.com. While MRG was originally created for all things Obstacle Course Racing, they realized that “obstacle races have been adding many more ANW-style upper-body obstacles: rings, ropes, bombs, pipes, and so much more. For the foreseeable future, your success in these new types of obstacles will dictate your performance in an obstacle course race.”
We’ve also seen overlap with athletes that compete in both ANW and OCR, so we’re not surprised that they’ve created a Ninja website, too!
The website includes:
- A list of gyms in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia
- An interactive map of gyms all around the world
- A rundown of all the Ninja leagues
- Competitions in the US and Canada (including a searchable calendar)
- Information on every season of American Ninja Warrior and ANW Junior
The Ninja Passport
The goal of The Ninja Passport is to “engage and excite Ninja athletes, Ninja families and the Ninja-curious to EXPLORE, CONNECT and SAVE. Our goal is one ninja commUNITY.”
The website includes:
- A list of 150+ gyms across the United States with information on pricing, social media, etc.
- Event calendar
- Message board
- The option to purchase a membership and get an open gym pass to the locations on their site and more (One dollar from each membership will go towards supporting Neighborhood Ninjas)
