Meet the Ninjas of the all new Team Europe

The team has representatives from three different countries.

David Becker/NBC

The 2019 American Ninja Warrior: USA vs The World competition will feature an entirely new Team Europe. None of the athletes have taken part in this competition before. But there’s no room for a slow warm up here, the team has a lot to live up to. In the 2018 USA vs The World, Team Europe won the trophy when Sean McColl won the climb on Stage Four with a time of 25:93. (Sean Bryan was RIGHT behind him with a time of 26.79.)

This year’s Team Europe roster includes two women and represents three countries; England, Spain, and Germany. All of them have taken part in Ninja Warrior competitions in their home countries. We’ve included some info below to help you get acquainted with the new lineup that’s looking to keep the trophy for themselves once again.

The 2019 USA vs The World competition will air on Sunday, January 27 at 9pm on NBC.

(A little note of warning on the photos below, they’re not technically spoilers, but they do show the athletes on the obstacles. Just remember that USA vs The World uses a farthest, fastest format to earn points, so where they are doesn’t indicate how the team is doing.)
