Adam Rayl stepped out of his Ninja comfort zone to step up to the pitcher’s mound. On April 30, the American Ninja Warrior threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Arizona Diamondbacks game.
The team went on to win 8 -5 against the LA Dodgers, so maybe Adam kicked things off on a good note.
Diamondbacks’ pitcher Matt Koch chatted with Adam before the throw and caught the ball for him. Check out the full video of the pitch above. The Diamondbacks were also kind enough to share some photos of the experience.
It looks like Adam had great time supporting his team as an Arizona native. If you want to see Adam in his natural element, watch him crush an American Ninja Warrior course.
It looks like Adam might have made quite the impression on the team. Just about a week later, outfielder Steven Souza Jr. was caught declaring himself a Ninja...
In case you weren't aware, @SouzaJr is a ninja. pic.twitter.com/pSry2z5e2R
