3 other NBC shows that could use Ninja Warriors

Let’s spread the Ninja love throughout NBC’s summer lineup.

It’s official! American Ninja Warrior Season 10 will begin on May 30th at 8/7 Central. Make sure you mark your calendars or set your DVRs, because this is sure to be a year to remember.

But wait -- there’s more. Yesterday, NBC also announced three other shows (America’s Got Talent, Running Wild with Bear Grylls and World of Dance) will return within the same week. So naturally, this got us thinking — which Ninjas would you like to see on these other summer series?

Here are some of our picks:

Nicholas Coolridge – America’s Got Talent

Many of the best acts on America’s Got Talent combine impressive athleticism with death-defying stunts. As we learned on last week’s Ninja vs. Ninja premiere, Coolridge is rapidly becoming one of social media’s most popular acrobats. A well-choreographed Ninja aerial display could help Nicholas earn some serious fan votes. I know ANW fans would support him!

Allyssa Beird - Running Wild with Bear Grylls

Anyone who can defeat the demanding obstacles of Stage One in Vegas has the fortitude to handle a 48-hour journey with Bear into the wild. But Allyssa Beird is especially suited for this role: she spends her days leading a class of energetic fifth graders. I’m not sure this adventurer could throw anything at Allyssa she hasn’t encountered before.

Grant McCartney – World of Dance

This is the easiest pick yet. The Island Ninja not only has incredible balance and coordination on the course -- he’s also got all the right moves on the dance floor. Grant has taught us everything from the running man to the warped wall, speaking to his prolific footwork. Even Ellen knows he’s got moves!

Let us know who you’d pick to represent the Ninja community on these or other shows!
