Watch the shocking photo finish and more highlights from Ninja vs Ninja

Full runs from the third week of qualifying

Eddy Chen/USA Network

On the third week of qualifiers for American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs Ninja, team Party Time reigned supreme. The season one champions shook off their early exit in season two to battle the Brazi Bros and then sweep the All-American Ninjas.

The episode featured an incredibly close finish and some shocking falls by Karsten Williams of the Fast Kats. You can read a full recap of the episode here.

Check out some of the highlighted runs from the episode!

Alexio Gomes vs Brian Arnold

This was the definition of a photo finish. Alexio and Brian were the first Ninjas to take the stage. Even though Alexio had the lead, Brian staged a late-run comeback that put them both at the buzzer so close together that viewers couldn’t tell who won. It was revealed that Alexio had hit the buzzer four-tenths of a second faster.

Brittany Reed vs Barclay Stockett

Brittany chose an interesting strategy on the Tilting Ladders that would seem to be the cause of her lagging behind Barclay. Once she was untangled from the obstacle, Barclay had a clear advantage. The Brittany took a tumble on the Floating Tiles.

Lucas Gomes vs Jake Murray

After Brian’s run, Party Time knew every second matter. So Jake Murray stepped up to the plate. He took a calculated risk by using a 12 foot dismount from the Tilting Ladder. While he easily could have missed, he didn’t, giving himself a huge lead.

Paul Hamm vs Kevin Klein

The Olympic gymnast seemed to be favored to win this run, based on the Twitter chatter of the night. But Kevin had other ideas. Kevin gained an early lead and never let up, clearing the Warped Wall uncontested.

Jonathan Horton vs Karsten Williams

Kartsen had a height and experience advantage over Jonathan. But the Ninja Warrior course never hands out favors. When Jonathan threatened Karsten’s pace on the Tilting Ladders, the pressure caused a miscalculation that sent him swimming.
