Is 2019 the year you become a Ninja Warrior? If you said yes, get ready because casting is now open for season 11 of American Ninja Warrior! You have until January 2, 2019 to apply.

Everyone has to submit an application to be considered for the show, which means thousands of submissions are about to pour in. It’s recommended that you get yours in as fast as possible to give the casting team time to ask you any additional questions.

You’ll be filling out a pretty in-depth form as well as creating a video. We’ve got some advice for you to help get the process rolling.

• Send in your application as soon as you can.
• Your personal story is incredibly important.
• Don’t just tell, always SHOW.
• Show off your energy level within the first 30 seconds.
• Treat your video like the ultimate first date.
• Include at least a minute of athletics.
• Know why you are unique.
• Fancy video editing skills are not important
