Akbar challenged Dwayne Johnson to Ninja Warrior. The Rock said ‘Oh, he’s not ready for that.’

Don’t hold your breath.

If you haven’t heard, Dwayne Johnson (AKA, The Rock) has a new show coming up called The Titan Games. The show has three pretty big things in common with American Ninja Warrior. It will air on NBC, produced by A. Smith and Co., and has obstacles built by The ATS Team. Basically, The Titan Games is Ninja Warrior’s new younger sibling.

So it’s no wonder that Ninja Warrior host Akbar Gbajabiamila was asked about the new show by the press. He got straight to the point. He challenged The Rock try the course.

Extra TV passed that message along to Dwayne and posted his response on Instagram

In short: It’s not happening.

“Oh, he’s not ready for that,” Dwayne immediately offered up.

He then considered the possibility of racing Akbar on the course, Ninja vs Ninja style.

“I don’t know about that. I’m so humble. I would kick his *** from one end of the course to the other.”

Hey now, those sound like fighting words, Dwayne. The challenge of American Ninja Warrior will be ready when you’re willing...
