In the history of American Ninja Warrior, there’s only been one “Godfather.” That title goes to David Campbell, one of the Ninjas who’s competed on every season of the show.
David has run 30 courses on the show. His long career has sent him to Sasuke in Japan twice and to the National Finals in Las Vegas five times. His infamous backyard course was one of the first examples of competitors building replica obstacles.
Season nine of American Ninja Warrior as a great one for David. He cleared Stage One of the National Finals for the first time in five seasons. We hope the Godfather returns for his tenth season!
Editor’s note: A previous version of this article omitted one run, which has been corrected.
