It was recently announced that American Ninja Warrior will kick off its tenth season at the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot in Los Angeles, CA.
This marks the third year the show has started its tour in the park. Back in season eight, American Ninja Warrior moved its Los Angeles area Qualifiers to the iconic filming location. In previous seasons, the show had a dominate presence at Venice Beach.
Here’s a quick look at some of the highlights that have come from the Universal Studios sessions!
Season Eight
Jessie Graff began her epic lead up to Stage One of the National Finals
Before she changed everything by becoming the first woman to complete Stage One in Vegas, Jessie had to qualify. And, oh wow, did she qualify.
We met rookie Josh Levin
Season eight in LA gave us our first look at Josh Levin, and he was more than ready for the challenges of American Ninja Warrior.
The Wedge became a Ninja Killer
Even the most talented Ninjas, like Flip Rodriguez, were shocked the difficulty of this new obstacle.
Season Nine
Charlie Andrews demanded our attention
Charlie Andrews made his debut, joining best friend Josh Levin in the league of elite Ninjas.
Grant McCartney made an exit
In one of the first (of many) shocks of the season, fan-favorite Grant McCartney fell on the Salmon Ladder, ending his season.
Zhanique Lovett helped usher in a new class of female Ninjas
Zhanique was a rookie in season nine, but her skills quickly advanced her further into the competition, helping to kick off an incredible year for the female competitiors.
American Ninja Warrior will return to the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot on March 6. What are your predictions for this year?
