Josh Levin’s second trip to the top of the Los Angeles City Finals course

Last season, he was the only Ninja to finish the course and he’s now back with a vengeance.

Josh Levin has built quite the reputation for himself on American Ninja Warrior. As a rookie in season eight, he was the only competitor to complete the Los Angeles City Finals course. At the National Finals, he advanced to Stage Two, falling at the Double Wedge.

Then, in USA vs the World, Josh completed Stage Three. Not too shabby for a newbie!

Josh returned to Los Angeles to kick off his sophomore season and his success does not seem to be slowing down.

His execution of the back half of the course was fairly flawless.

His one-handed dismount from the Swinging Pegboard looked almost casual.

On the Stair Hopper, Josh was careful to constantly check both sides of the rod, making sure he stayed in the center.

When he reached the Elevator Climb, Josh went into the zone. He closed his eyes and focused on the necessary movements more than the distance.

As he neared the top, he started to look a little worried. It looked like exhaustion might finally be settling in.

Josh was still able to complete the Elevator Climb, with enough energy left for a celebration. He’s heading back to the National Finals!
