The American Ninja Warrior City Finals episodes kick off Monday, July 24! To celebrate, Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbajabiamila and a host of Ninja Warriors are taking over the TODAY Show and the fans are invited!

They’ll be unveiling a new obstacle ominously titled the Spinball Wizard on the TODAY Show and then hanging out at the NBC Experience store at the bottom of 30 Rock for a meet and greet at 10am EST.

Here are the Ninjas who’ll be there!

  • Allyssa Beird
  • Joe Moravsky
  • Najee Richardson
  • Jamie Rahn
  • Rachael Goldstein
  • James McGrath
  • Carl Fantauzzo
  • Jonathan Angelilli
  • Anthony DeFranco
  • Jimmy Choi

If you’re in the New York City area, GO! Get there early (like, 6am early) if you want to be the first to lay eyes on the Spinball Wizard and watch the Ninjas demo it. The hosts and Ninjas will be heading to the NBC Experience store after to hang with fans.

It’s awesome being on the TODAY Show, right in front of 30 Rock with actual obstacles and Ninjas. Every time we’re there, it feels like an event. It’ll be even better when we finally get Al Roker on the course,” Matt Iseman shared.

Akbar Gabajabiamila is looking forward to the chance to meet more fans. “Honestly, getting to connect with fans is one of my favorite parts of being a part of this show. Our fans are the absolute BEST and they ALWAYS bring the energy and heat! I say it all the time, but what is so incredible about ANW is the fact that this show shows how much more alike we are than different. What could be a greater message than that?

If you can make it out, this is a great chance to talk to the Ninja Warriors in person. They, and Matt, love hearing how the show finds a place in fans’ hearts.

My favorite part of meeting the fans is hearing how the stories of our Ninjas resonate or inspire them. To know that people everyday are struggling with obstacles in their lives and that seeing a Ninja who’s had that same battle competing on the course can give them hope or strength. I love that,” Matt told us.

You didn’t want to go to work Monday morning anyway. Hang out with American Ninja Warrior instead!
