Hanging with Drew Drechsel at #AmericanNinjaWarrior San Antonio!Posted by American Ninja Warrior Nation on Sunday, March 26, 2017
Before the kick off of the San Antonio Qualifiers, we met up with American Ninja Warrior Drew Drechsel.
While Drew could neither confirm or deny if any Ninja Warriors had taken a dip in the River Walk, he did talk about some of his fond memories of Texas and his thoughts on the upcoming season of American Ninja Warrior.
The Real Life Ninja said the women competitors are going to have another substantial year. The veteran females are coming back stronger than ever and we’re going to see new women on the course as well.
Drew himself has some pretty big plans for season nine. After falling twice now from the Hang Climb obstacle on Stage Three of the National Finals, he knows exactly what he needs to do.
“I know why I fell and what I need to work on. For me it’s staying focused and calm under that super intense pressure on an obstacle that you’re not comfortable with. So as long as you can stay calm under that intense pressure when you’re uncomfortable then there should be no reason. You do what you’ve trained to do.”
