Watching the athletes on American Ninja Warrior is awe-inspiring. These people don’t even seem human as they execute impossible feats of strength and mental focus. Which is why it’s always a delight to learn how to down to Earth they are. They love their fans and the chance they have to inspire others.
Drew Drechsel is an example of that. A long-time, successful Ninja Warrior, he’s used that leverage to build a legacy of new Ninjas.
Previously, we had the chance to meet with Drew at his gym, New Era Ninjas in Hamden, CT. While he talked about his love of inspiring other Ninjas, both young and old, he hinted at more Ninja gyms to come.
He made good on his word with the grand opening of the Real Life Ninja Academy in Windsor, CT. The 10,000 square foot space has two American Ninja Warrior competitors on the coaching staff, as well as Drew.
With kids and adult classes offered (as well as parties and camps) anyone with Ninja Warrior aspirations can learn from a legend.
The new space looks amazing.

The gym is complete with a high-tech timing system for competitions.

Look at all the little Ninjas already chomping at the bit to get their training on.
