Jon Stewart’s Oklahoma City Finals run

He had no intention of letting his age stand in his way.

Jon Stewart was looking to break all kinds of records with his Oklahoma City Finals run on American Ninja Warrior.

At age 54, he wanted to be the oldest competitor to conquer the Warped Wall, and to become the oldest Ninja to lock in a trip to Vegas. This was a record he himself had set in previous seasons.

He was also aiming to seal the deal on his third consecutive appearance at the National Finals. While not a record, it’s pretty darn impressive on its own.

In order to do that, Jon was going to need to bump David Campbell out of the top 15. David has gone to Vegas every single season, but a slip early on the City Finals course put him in a precarious position.

Jon was able to make his dreams reality when he toppled the Warped Wall and even got through Bungee Road. It wasn’t until the Window Hang that he lost his grip. He’ll be back for the Vegas Finals!
