Full results from the UNAA 2016 Championships

The Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA) held their 2016 Championships in Albuquerque, NM on August 6th. For the past year, Ninjas have been competing in Area and Regional Qualifiers in order to make it to this stage.

The event was jam packed with big name American Ninja Warriors, as well Ninjas we haven’t gotten to see on the course yet. There was serious cash on the line in the adult division, with first place taking home $10,000.

Jessie Graff took first in the ladies division, followed by Jesse Labreck. Jake Murray lead the men’s field, followed by Drew Knapp.

Course set up

• Log Steps - 12 logs of various heights (9" to 36" ) that you step on to get to the next obstacle.
• Pipe Dream- 3 x 10 ft pipes that you climb , traverse and descend on.
• Spider Transfer- Jumping spider with transfer from one set of walls to another using trampoline
• The Cage grips- Chain link fence that you climb up one side and down the other to a grip junction
• Elevated Slack Line - Standard slack line across 20ft with increased height at center
• Floating Cliff Hanger - Cliff Hanger supported by chains
• Flying Ring - ascending and descending horizontal bars that you swing a giant ring from peg to peg
• Precision bars - bars spaced at specific intervals that you run across
• Floating Peg Board- Standard peg boards running horizontally supported by chains
• Vertigo - Rope to Salmon Ladder double transfer to ropes to platform FINISH
