The weather was wild at the American Ninja Warrior Indianapolis Qualifiers! A two hour rain delay pushed runs well into the wee hours of the morning, but it didn’t put a damper on some incredible moments.
Zach Gowen, who lost his leg at age eight to cancer, had the audience on their feet for his run. His determined leaps through the Floating Steps, followed by his magical spin on the Log Runner were jaw-dropping.
Meagan Martin completed the course for the third year in a row. Dubbed the “Qualifying triplet,” she’s now the only female Ninja to have accomplished this feat.
Of course, Indianapolis is home to the Indy 500, quite possibly one of the most famous car races in the world. This meant a few professional drivers wanted to try the course.
They didn’t fair very well. Helio Castroneves made it the farthest by reaching the Fly Wheels. But they all had a great time trying out a different sport.
